Nazario Moreno González ("El Más Loco")

Spiritual and operational leader of La Familia Michoacana and later the Knights Templar Cartel. Known as “El Más Loco” (“The Craziest One”), he authored a quasi-religious guidebook blending evangelical Christian principles with cartel doctrine, creating an unusual ideological dimension to his criminal organization.

Reportedly killed by Mexican security forces in December 2010, but his body was never recovered. He was actually killed in March 2014, revealing he had survived and operated covertly for over three years after being declared dead — a stunning intelligence failure by the Mexican government.
